Since Joe Fresh Style is coming to the USA, I've decided to round up all my beauty products from the line (which turned out to be quite a bit!) and swatch/review away. Needless to say, this is a long and picture-heavy post, but I hope you find it informative when choosing Joe Fresh Beauty products at a store or in a swap!
Eyeshadows
The first product I purchased from Joe Fresh Beauty was the brown eyeshadow (Espresso - far right). If you're a regular reader, you'll know that I wear this shadow wet as eyeliner every single day. It clearly shows signs of wear. The other colours, from left to right, are Pebble, Plum and Peacock (wow, alliteration!). Pebble is a grey-taupe with slight shimmer. Plum is a matte blackened purple. Peacock is a matte bright blue-green. And Espresso is a matte chocolate brown. Swatched below in the same order.
All of the shades, matte or shimmery, apply very smoothly. They definitely aren't high-end dupes in the formulation department, but are pretty great for the price ($4 or 3 for $10). The pans are also HUGE at 3.3g. I'm only about 3/4 finished the brown after using it almost everyday for 2 years! As for shades, Pebble has been likened to MAC's Smoke and Diamonds and is one of my favourite neutrals ever! And Peacock is a super unique colour that I haven't seen from many brands.
Foundation/Concealer
I'm not usually one to purchase foundation from a cheap, drugstore brand, but I feel like I was desperate one day and just went for it. And I actually wasn't disappointed! The Joe Fresh Beauty Foundation provides medium coverage and is easy to blend. I actually prefer it to MAC Face and Body, which is about 5x more expensive! A little goes a long way and the shades match my fair, pale skin amazingly well.
The concealer is a neat product, double-ended with a liquid on one end and a stick on the other. I always keep this in my purse as it's perfect for touch-ups. The stick side concealers zits and the liquid is great for undereye circles. A tube contains a generous amount and lasts forever! It's not the longest lasting concealer on the planet on my oily skin, but it's great for on-the-go.

Cream Blush
Cream Blush
I only own one blush from the Joe Fresh range and it's one of the new creams for Spring/Summer '11. When I saw Bloom online, it reminded me of MAC Madly Magenta and I knew I had to have it! I'd say this is fairly similar if a little less pigmented. It gives a sheer, purple-pink glow and is so much fun for summer. It actually works decently as a lip colour too and isn't too drying or cakey. I can't wait to try more cream and powder blushes.
Lipstick, Gloss and Crayons
Lip products are some that I don't really mind purchasing from cheaper brands. I honestly can't see much of a difference from higher-end brands like MAC. Every lip product that I've tried from Joe Fresh has been of great quality. From top to bottom I've got Sheer Lip Crayons in Bare and Candy, Lipgloss in Praline, Matte Lipstick in Berry and Cream Lipstick in Strawberry.
The Sheer Lip Crayons are a neat product. They come in a handy pencil but impart a sheer wash of colour on the lips. These actually last SUPER long and give colour to my pigmented lips. Love these and need to purchase them in more colours!
The Lipgloss is probably my least favourite of the entire product line. It's non-sticky, which is nice, but it's extremely sheer and requires constant reapplication. I'll be using this frequently as I want to finish it up for a Project 10 Pan.
The Cream and Matte Lipsticks come in many of the same colours, but obviously have different finishes. I like that they offer most colours in two finishes, although I can just throw some gloss on my Matte Lipstick and get a similar effect. Anyways, I really love the pigmentation and staying power of both of these. Both finishes apply creamy and even the Matte doesn't dry out my lips. I quite like these and remind myself to buy more everytime I wear them (which I forget about quite quickly!).

Overall, Joe Fresh Beauty is a drugstore smash! The majority of the products are fantastic, both in quality and price. The Joe Fresh Beauty range stays super trendy with seasonal releases, but also has a consistent line of classics. Everytime I'm at Superstore or Loblaws, I have to see what Joe Fresh has in store!
